PEGylated agarose beads are made of highly crosslinked agarose beads with dense surface PEG coating with >20 ¼mol PEG per mL drained gel. Particle size ranges from 50 - 160 Î¼m. PEGylated agarose beads are stable at pH of 3 to pH of 13 (long term) and pH of 2-14 (short term). allowing for a very stringent wash step. Storage conditions: 2 â€“ 28 °C. Supplied as an aqueous gel suspension with 20% ethanol as an antimicrobial agent. The product is stable in commonly used medium for gel filtration and separation including 2 M NaOH, 8 M urea, 30% isopropanol and 70% ethanol and others.
