Properties

Poly(N-isopropylacrylamide-Polyethylene glycol–Poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAAm-PEG-PNIPAAm), a triblock copolymer. PNIPAAm also called PNIPA, PNIPAM, PNIPAAm, NIPA, PNIPAA or PNIPAm. PNIPAm is a temperature responsive polymer. PEG-PNIPAm is a thermosensitive injectable hydrogels for biomedical applications. The versatility of PNIPA has uses in macroscopic gels, microgels, membranes, sensors, biosensors, thin films, tissue engineering, and drug delivery.
