Description
Amine-F127-Amine is the same as Amine -P407-Amine. Amine = NH2.
Pluronic F127 is generally regarded as safe (GRAS) by regulatory bodies like the FDA for pharmaceutical use. Pluronic F127 (also denoted as F-127 ), a widely utilized non-ionic, amphiphilic triblock copolymer in pharmaceutical and biomedical applications. This material is formally classified as poloxamer 407 (P407).
Properties
Poloxamers are triblock copolymers of PEO and PPO available in different molecular weights and PPO/PEO ratios in the format of PEO-PPO-PEO. The presence of PEO and PPO blocks in a single polymer chain gives rise to essentially amphiphilic molecules. This ability to form micelles  and liquid-crystalline phases is strongly temperature dependent since increasing the temperature allows self-association which decreases the critical micelle concentration (CMC).
Another important property of Poloxamers is their thermogelling behavior: water dispersions of some of these polymers are generally in the liquid phase at low temperatures but become a strong gel at increased temperatures.
A new type of reverse block copolymer in the format of PPO-PEO-PPO such as Pluronic 25R4 is a highly effective block copolymer surfactant with terminal secondary hydroxyl groups. It is specifically designed as an ethylene oxide and propylene oxide reverse block copolymer, providing unique properties for various applications. This surfactant acts as a dispersant, offering excellent associative thickening, dispersing, and wetting characteristics with minimal environmental impact.
