Description
Amine-P403-Amine is the same as Amine-Pluronic P123-Amine
Poloxamer 403 is a non-ionic, triblock copolymer belonging to the poloxamer family, which consists of polyoxyethylene (PEO) and polyoxypropylene (PPO) blocks arranged in the structure PEO-PPO-PEO. It is also designated as Pluronic® P123 in commercial nomenclature. This compound serves primarily as a surfactant and emulsifying agent in pharmaceutical and cosmetic formulations. Chemical and Physical Properties: Molecular Formula and Structure: The polymer features hydrophilic PEO blocks flanking a hydrophobic PPO block, enabling amphiphilic behavior. The average molecular weight is approximately 5,750 Da. Appearance: It presents as a white, waxy powder. CAS Number: 9003-11-6.
Properties
Poloxamers  are triblock  copolymers of PEO)and PPO available in different molecular weights and PPO/PEO ratios. The presence of PEO and PPO blocks in a single polymer chain gives rise to essentially amphiphilic molecules. This ability to form micelles  and liquid-crystalline phases is strongly temperature dependent since increasing the temperature allows self-association which decreases the critical micelle concentration (CMC).
Another important property of Poloxamers is their thermogelling behavior: water dispersions of some of these polymers are generally in the liquid phase at low temperatures but become a strong gel at increased temperatures.
